Forklift Fuse - A fuse comprises either a metal strip on a wire fuse element inside a small cross-section which are attached to circuit conductors. These units are typically mounted between a pair of electrical terminals and normally the fuse is cased inside a non-conducting and non-combustible housing. The fuse is arranged in series that could carry all the current passing through the protected circuit. The resistance of the element produces heat due to the current flow. The construction and the size of the element is empirically determined to be sure that the heat produced for a normal current does not cause the element to attain a high temperature.
